Bethesda just announced that mod support as well as support for the new Playstation Pro Skyrim and Fallout 4 are both confirmed on their website, and to say they were excited to make this announcement would be a understatement! (For those who may not know, Skyrim was not going to have mod support on Sony’s Playstation 4 and PS4 user’s were outraged at Microsoft and PC being the only parties with it).
Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls offical leaked the news earlier today with the full story here
Due to release on October 28th, the Skyrim remake will not only allow the player the option to experience the game with mods but will also render the picture in native 4k with the new power of the Playstation 4 Pro. Support for mods will come with Skyrim first utilizing Bethesda’s Creation kit. Though external assets will not be able to be uploaded, Players will be able to use assets provided with the game.
An update was also noted for Fallout 4 after Skyrim was completed for the PS4 Pro, with high expectations placed on the Player to take advantage of the 4k enhanced lighting and graphics
